Rally Your Union
This is where provincial pride runs deepest. Each of New Zealand's 27 rugby unions nominates their greatest players and most iconic moments. Then it's up to you — the fans — to vote for the ones that deserve to advance.
- Vote only within your affiliated union
- Each team has a set quota of nominees that advance
- Separate categories for players and moments
- The top vote-getters from each union advance to the national stage

The National Stage
Now the gloves come off. Every advanced nominee from NPC and Heartland merges into one national pool. Weekly elimination rounds progressively cut the field until only the greatest remain.
- All fans can vote regardless of union affiliation
- Weekly rounds: All → 80 → 50 → 30 → 10
- The Final 10 are crowned as the greatest of the past 50 years
Two Categories, One Celebration
Provincial rugby isn't just about who played — it's about what happened. Vote across both categories.
Greatest Players
The forwards who dominated the scrum. The backs who lit up the terraces. From gritty Heartland warriors to NPC legends — who deserves to be remembered?
Greatest Moments
The last-minute tries. The shock upsets. The finals that had a whole province on its feet. These are the memories that made provincial rugby matter.
Every Province Has a Story
For 50 years, provincial rugby has been the heartbeat of New Zealand communities. From sold-out Ranfurly Shield challenges to Heartland finals in front of a few hundred loyal diehards — these are the stories that shaped our game.
